The Superformance MkIII is built in South Africa under the direction of Jim Price and imported into the United States as a fully finished rolling chassis, ready for the installation of engine and transmission.
Development of the prototype MKIII model was carried out by ex-Willment team driver, Bob Olthoff. He was so impressed by the car that he became the official Superformance dealer for North Carolina and considered the car to be not just the best replica Cobra, but one of the best road-going sports cars available.
